Blanca Mercedes is a highly accomplished construction executive with over 20 years of experience leading complex projects across the education, residential, industrial, commercial, hospitality, and mission critical sectors. For the past five years, she has played a key role in the development of California’s Central Valley, overseeing public school construction and industrial projects.

Currently serving as Project Executive of Education Market Sector, she leads new school construction for Golden Plains Unified School District, ensuring high-quality execution and compliance. Previously, she served as Director of Business Operations at Donald J. Scheffler’s Construction, where she optimized operations, enhanced profitability, and implemented strategic performance initiatives. She also held leadership roles at Brownco Construction as Vice President of Operations, where she drove business expansion and operational growth.

Blanca holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she is fluent in Spanish and brings a global perspective to her leadership in the construction industry.
